This is blatant racism. Just because Crawford is of a certain race, they help him. Totally desrespectful towards the other fighters. Crawford is good but his achievements are not remarkable. He has ducked Vergil Ortiz for years. He should have fought an established 168 pounder before fighting Canelo. Payday.

Crawford could care less about sanctioning bodies at this point, pay me MF'ers for all my hard work over the years and after leaving Bob I'm still sucessful like everyone else that leave, he groomed me to sucker punch y'all idiots!

The WBOgus are still just happy to be treated as a proper organisation. If it was up to me they would be relegated back to being a secondary belt. We had enough problems with the "big three" without adding to them.

This is very similar to what the WBO does for all of it's champions: they allow them to directly fight for their belt in another division (usually the division directly above, but also the division below). They did this when Bud, coming up from 140, was allowed to fight Horn for the WBO belt at 147. The WBO also allowed this for when Bud moved up to 154, allowing him to immediately challenge for the WBO 154 lb title held by Fundora. But, since Fundora was not going to be cleared to fight by the commission for months because of the broken nose he suffered in the first Tszyu fight, Crawford fought Madrimov instead. So, the difference here is that Bud is jumping up two divisions, not one. I don't think the WBO should make a regular habit of this, but Crawford is a special boxer.

So Crawford had a single fight at 154, has yet to fight at 160 let alone 168, but he's now the number one contender of at 168? Boxing is closer to being a circus than a sport at this point.

They are doing everything to justify that sh.it. it is still just a garbage fight between a super middleweight titlist and an 38 old welterweight.

I can`t even call Canelo a champ, because he is clearly ducking all dangerous contenders in his weight class.

Anybody should be able to see that the WBO's strategy is to make Crawford Canelo's mandatory so that if he wins, they can allow him another whole year of fighting smaller guys or fringe contenders without looking gutless for not forcing him to face a 168 pounder who deserves to be mandatory.
