Sorry, but Itauma is far from being ready

I already see some ideas about Usyk - Itauma.

Which us insane, itauma needs 3-4 fights to get ready and Usyk will be 40 and retired than.

Itauma is the new generation, let him make his own way. Prove he can beat that shot Whyte first.

Yes everyone with a brain knows this, He's too young, didn't have a whole lot of amateur experience and is nowhere near ready.

Nobody, including Turki I'm sure, has any illusions that it's early for Itauma, but as you've said, if it's going to happen, it needs to happen very soon.

For Itauma's sake, I hope he gets at least one more fight after Whyte, Usyk should still be around in 1 year.

First off, who's claiming he's ready?

Second, it may well be that Itauma's development ceiling is assessed as being quite short. If that's the case, it's better to put him in with Usyk now whilst he has the youth and audacity to believe he can win. Knocking over a few more journeymen/fringe contenders is not going to better prepare him for Usyk.

Itauma is green for sure, but wasn't he thinking he could be youngest champ ever? If itauma had serious ambitions, it would've been usyk.in the way unfortunately as usyk has all the belts and no weak belt holder for itauma to face, apart from ddd.
Ali best the next generation of heavyweights too, usyk might not be around to do that, but in fighting itauma, usyk can at least have a win over a heavyweight who is the future of the sport

Turki DKSAB but he holds the purse strings. If he’s talking about it, it could happen.
