Not really, Usyk uses he first few to wear the opponent down. To exploit their weaknesses and make them overthink. By halfway you are mentally and physically spent.

For Fury, Usyk put him on the back foot, never let the pressure stop, constantly hit the chest/heart and Fury simply couldn't keep up and lowered his hands as he feared that shot again. Then Usyk just changes level. He's relentless.

Sure Tyson won a couple of rounds at the start, but that's just him putting EVERYTHING in to keep Usyk off him. He can't do it for 12, impossible.

Another example is AJ. Most observers had AJ up in the second fight after 9, but Usyk had already put the work in. He just turns it up again and there's no response.

You're confusing early rounds with what is actually happening. These guys are just being worn down mentally and physically. Usyk just hasn't turned the dial up yet.

What was 'scary' about the DDD fight was Usyk just decided to turn it up from round 2... And he was devastating. He's normally patient until the second half.

Its likely he knocks Fury out if they fight again, he's worked him out and knows his weaknesses now.
Fury has made no progress to solving the Usyk puzzle.

i agree usyk was in a bit of bother in fight 1 for a while, good performance from fury very good actualy just not quite enough usyk stamina saw him through in the end

Even with only 12 fights I believe he's a much better challenger than Dubois who has never impressed me. I don't think he beats Usyk at this stage of his career but he provides a much more exciting fight to look forward to than Parker, Fury, or Joshua.

Parker has momentum and would be something hung new so I would prefer him.

I think Moses is way too inexperienced for Usyk. If Turkish thinks he’s ready he’s gonna put up the loot.

Fury needs to beat Dubois or Joshua to earn a third shot at Usyk. He has to beat someone good and show us he can be in better condition/shape. Otherwise nobody really wants to pay to see Usyk outbox the lying delusional fat slob a third time.

He was tagging Usyk with lead uppercuts from outside, do you know how difficult that is to do.

Skill wise Usyk vs Fury is a very good matchup, but physically fury is a LOT more erroded than Usyk.

Prior to the weight gain he was getting knocked down by Cunningham, Pajkic and beat up by John McDermott.

I don't want to rinse the guy, but simple fact is he got beat by the better boxer.
