I believe Murtazaliev beats them all at 154. Bud will not come back after Canelo knock his head off.

Put Fundora in with Bakhram Murtazaliev or Bohachuk and that gravy train comes to an end, Fundora gets KTFO.

I hope we see those fights. I wouldn’t count Fundora out as he has improved a lot. I think he’s a challenge for anyone. I wouldn’t mind seeing how Ortiz handles him compared to Tszyu since they aren’t too dissimilar physically and stylistically. Ortiz does look a level above Tszyu though.
I agree, Tim Tszyu is a weak version of Ortiz, a Vergil Ortiz Jr light if you will... I also agree that Fundora is tall and learning to use distance but he's slow, paws and pecks with his jab and that only works with a certain level of fighter. Tim was always there to be hit, he has no footwork, no head movement he's just a basic ABC fighter that hasn't learned anything in his last outings but how to quit.

When Fundora runs into a guy with decent head movement or quick feet or even a guy with a high guard that's hard to catch clean like Bohachuk...Fundora takes a loss. All of the top tier 154lbers have great timing, skills and mental toughness and Vergil Ortiz blasts him out in a one sided beating. The problem with fighting any of the top 5 at 154 is that they aren't part of the PBC and Al Haymon can't afford to let go of that belt. The logical scenario for the PBC is to have Fundora skip unification and instead match him against a resurrected Keith Thurman, Errol Spence or maybe even Charllo. In a pinch I'm guessing a 4th choice might be Xander Zayas because he is the least experienced but he's still dangerous because he's quick and confident and he'll come to win.

Well now that dust has settled on the Fundora - Tszyu rivalry, I am looking forward to some more exciting fights at 154. I would love to see any and all combinations of Ortiz, Fundora, Murtazaliev, Bohachuk and Zayas until one undisputed king of 154 is crowned. Some mouth watering fights to look forward to.

Tim may beat some normal sized fighters. But he is done at the top level.
I was completely wrong on this one as well. Really thought Tszyu had a comeback in him. I guess he just needs to step away and either stay away or find his fire again because he willed himself to fight, but this was never in doubt. Excellent win for Fundora. Terrible prediction on my part.

He can thank his trash team for his career nose diving, Matt and George Rose aka MORONS who took a 6'5 replacement (Fundora) on days notice and had a clueless cut man and not enough common sense to stop it and call it a NC, then they throw him in with a beast in Orlando and get him destroyed and now back to the meat grinder with Fundora again. Tszyu's career is over and apparently so is No Limit's Fox deal, apparently they've reached their limit!

Big George was in full spin after the fight trying to deny that Tim quit. It is what it is. We all saw. Tim did a no mas, but that doesn’t sell well since all they really have left is the iron will image of Tim. It may be that the real dog in the family is Nikita, but he’s a disaster waiting to happen.

Regarding No Limit, I don’t think they’ve been as good for Australian boxing as they and Fox claim. They are benefiting from a period in which some Aussie boxers have attracted attention, but putting local level fighters that no one knows, ex rugby players or Nikita Tszyu vs random club fighter on Main Event ppv doesn’t help the sport. Recently they put Liam Paro’s eliminator on ppv… Whatever deal they have with Australian broadcasters sucks for fans

Murtz beat Tower left overs. The Inferno took it out of Tim. Murtz has Tim and ? on his resume.

Tszyu was eating shot after shot after shot in front of Fundora, standing upright when you're supposed to fight the taller fighter short, and barely using any defense. He wasn't always like thisb yes, he was limited but he wasn't just a rock em sock em type. The first fight with Fundora clearly diminished him both in body and soul.

If there were a prize for worst trainer of the year, it should go to whoever is the dimwit that trains him, along with Serrano's trainer of course.

Fundora may be an annoying dork, but he's fun to watch. I'm hoping to see him clobbered by one of the top guys. Zayas is more of a fifty fifty fight because we just haven't seen the Boricua tested.

I got it wrong as well. Based on the first couple of rounds in the first fight, I thought Tim would win this one. However, Fundora is a new and improved beast. He has finally learned how to use his long arms and he is a lot more confident and aggressive. He really went after Tim from the get go throwing a 1,000 punches at him without tiring. Interestingly enough, he did not do that in the first fight even through Tim was blinded by all the blood flowing into his eyes. Anyway, none of us really knew how diminished this version of Tim really was.
