Incidentally, my favourite heavyweight ever - aside from maybe Jack Johnson - is Lennox Lewis.

Tunney, you're a clown who's laughing and joking in this thread yet he's had me on ignore for months because I had him contradicting himself so bad he was starting to sound like a bad used car salesman.

        Beeeeeeeootch!

this is the equivalent of Larry Holmes fighting Marvis Frazier...without the greatness of Holmes involved of course.

              I see. You're an e-racist. That's sad.

Klitschko fights always do very well in mainland Europe. Expect a packed venue and excellent TV ratings.

Isn't this fight little more than a tuneup? I don't expect Johnson to give much of a fight at all. He hasn't even fought a contender yet, let alone someone the caliber of a Klitschko.

You're probably right about the packed venue and excellent TV ratings, but I can't understand it, not for this fight.

Kevin Johnson is a good technical boxer, and he has sparred with the best heavyweights. Kevin is ranked by the WBC and WBA. He's a better opponent than an old shot Toney or Maskaev would be, or an even more inexperienced Quezada.

The fight was made before Solis KOed Barrett and Tua KOed Cameron. Either Tua or Solis would be a good choices as Vitali's next opponent in 2010, although each should have one more fight before facing Vitali.
