Klitschko TKO10. Johnson is way out of his league here. I guess his promoter is looking to cash out as well.Comment

As much as Carnivore wants to hype up another Klitschko opponent, Kevin Johnson is horrible and you'll see on December 12th. He's getting flattened...early.Isn't this fight little more than a tuneup? I don't expect Johnson to give much of a fight at all. He hasn't even fought a contender yet, let alone someone the caliber of a Klitschko.
You're probably right about the packed venue and excellent TV ratings, but I can't understand it, not for this fight.Comment

This will make it 4 title fights in 14 months for Vitali...for a 38 year old he really puts a lot of younger boxers to shameComment

Johnson hasn't beaten big enough names to warrant this. I've watched clips of him and he looks okay, although nothing too special it would seem. He seems very calm and calculated, and may have a tough beard, although it's been untested. He says he has a good jab, but he doesn't really force a fight with it from what I've seen. Someone needs to go out there and fight like Ray Mercer did against Lennox.Comment

Tell me about it. I watched Johnson fight Ron Guerrero in Hartford a few years ago and I was not impressed to say the least. At one point in the fight I actually thought Johnson was losing. Guerrero has a 20-16 record and has lost or been KOed by any notable fighter he has ever faced. Johnson won the fight by wide margin, but was booed by the crowd throughout.
And Johnson is not even ranked as highly as advertised. On boxrec he is ranked #23 overall, behind the likes of Sam Peter, Oleg Maskaev, Hasim Rahman, and Albert Sosnowski.
If anything I would say that Johnson is probably the worst opponent Vitali has fought since the immortal Danny Williams.Comment
