Usyk would have been bigger and taller than Mike Tyson.

Tonight Usyk weighed 16.3 stone which, at a guess, is around 230lbs. Tyson in his prime, weighed between 210 and 218 pounds. Usyk is 6ft 2 and Tyson was and is 5ft 11

So with this comment are you saying that Triple D is as good as prime Mike Tyson ? And coz Uysk beat DDD he'd also probably have beat Tyson. You haven't really thought this through, have you ?

Would not matter, if Usyk ran Tyson would catch him and kill him. You aint beaten prime Tyson on the back foot.

I agree. Usyk would not get past halfway.

There’s only one person left for Usyk now before retiring as an All Time Great.

And that name is: Ivan Drago

Usyk’s left hook needs to be put in a museum.
      What a beaut.

Wow that's a level of stùpidity that I didn't think was possible even on this board. No I, very factually, didn't say that. You couldn't even infer that from my post. If you are capable, feel free to go and read it again or have an adult with a reasonable IQ explain it to you.

I was just pointing out that your incredibly simplistic view of Usyk as a fighter was completely wrong. Do you watch boxing? In his last few fights he has taken centre ring, he has bullied his opponent, not by 'trading punches' but through movement, feints, jabs, and leads and he has done that regardless of how dangerous the opponent was.

He beats Tyson, in my opinion, because he's a much better boxer than Tyson was. It's boxing, not the 'baddest man' contest.

Usyk wrecks him either way lol

Usyk trains in kickboxing, sambo, wrestling and judo and has for years.
Honestly Jake may well be a little safer in boxing.

Correct, and Usyk would have been great in MMA. But with his talent level in boxing + the money the sport brings, it never made sense to go that route. I cannot see this happening.

All you have wrote is Usyk beats Tyson. How ?

Tonight was Usyk's FIRST real beat-down and schooling of an elite HW

His two fights with AJ and Fury were very competitive (He won them all, but he hardly ran them outta the ring). At the time, when Usyk fought Derek Chisora, at the end of the fight I thought Usyk just done enough but would not be surprised if that was a draw. I remember it like yesterday, watching it during covid, no crowds. Many thought that in the Usyk Vs Dubois 1 fight. That was a legal shot by DDD and he should have got the belt.

So my point Usyk is has not separated himself as WAY BETTER than his peers, the way Tyson did in his prime.

Wow! Yes! That was an amazing fight! What a dominant performance by Oleksandr Usyk! Dubois may come back strong. Oleksandr Usyk is clearly the best! Great win for Oleksandr Usyk and congratulations to him on becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world again! He's a class act and a gentleman! Oleksandr Usyk is the greatest of this era and he's truly one of the all-time greats!

Usyk is actually everything people claimed Loma was. A generational talent, HOF, ATG fighter
