I don't think the Taylor loss was as bad as it appeared

Taylor fought well for nearly 12 rounds, and so has nothing to be embarrassed about. It won't take Abraham 12 rounds to KO Froch.

Taylor's loss wasn't an embarrassment. I think people were trying to hold Taylor to the media generated standard they invented for him when he first won the title. look at his carreer, even his handlers knew he needed to be protected and is why they paired him against light hitters and smaller guys. Then it took some creative scoring to keep the title until kelley Pavlik screwed it up by knocking him out. Jermain fought as good as he could and his chin did the best it could for him. He should now think of retiring so he can enjoy the millions he made and keep his brain intact. His failures have nothing to do with lack of training but genetics, he simply can't take a shot coulpled with physical endurance which exposes that chin in the later rounds. Good Luck Jermain, but please retire.
