I'm sorry... Jim lampley is well past it.

As much as the nostalgia side of me says it's nice to see him back, he was AWFUL on commentary.

Said Canelo is "the most skilled fighter in boxing"

Didn't know who Usyk is fighting next week or that he was fighting

Asked tarver if growing a beard helps you take punches

Thought round 3 was round 2 and forgot a round had happened

And this was only in the Sheeraz fight, I didn't watch the rest of the card.

Yeah he's done. The voice is nostalgic but the commentary is way more bias even compared to the last hbo days

I didn't watch whatever he was commenting but if he didn't know who the undisputed heavyweight champ is fighting a week from now then this is just a job to him and he doesn't really give a **** about boxing

It was poor job I thought from all. There were several shots from Hamza especially uppercuts that weren't acknowledged and they were all big shots. They also weirdly went into the fight with a narrative that Hamza wasn't much of a puncher or something. Despite them then saying prior to his last fight he was on 15 fight KO streak ffs.

They should have known given how whilst they were both cautious they were both clearly throwing with their opponent someone getting knocked out looked a likely outcome. They just weren't absorbed by the fight.

Forgetting a whole round by Lampley was mental.

Commentary kept talking about Sheeraz's looks, Lampley mentioning the size of his feet more than once..

                  definitely

                  ssaying a lot of mistruths

and constantly going off on tangents

also was trying to correct tarver a lot, tarver said good uppercut and then lampley said "by?". like wtf, youre watching the fight, just say "yea that was a good uppercut by sheeraz"

the whole card felt like a biased pro-american show, shakur commentary and scorecards were awful, morrell is cuban but lives in usa- horrific decision

i thought coppinger was good, definitely the most reasonable

i mean tarver said r5 of kataev morrell should be a 9-9 round
