Most of his opponents were terrible.

Of all of his world level opponents, he only stopped Maxi Hughes and Mercito Gesta. Shakur Stevenson beat him and he went the distance with Rene Alvarado, JoJo Diaz, and Tevin Farmer twice.

Don't give me that "dog in me" stuff. I don't imagine he had a choice but to fight that way and if he did, he would have fought like all of his other fights. Credit to both guys for taking this fight. Risk and vulnerability is what makes boxing the best when it is the best.

Great effort and good win for Shakur. He shut up his critics, including me, for one night, at least. I have always been a big Shakur guy and attended a few of his fights. With that being said, he has fought some boring ass fights. Not last night. Good fight! Hope this continues.
