The Bobfather and ESPN’s last show

The career of Xander Zayas has been associated with Top Rank and ESPN since the Puerto Rican made his pro debut on Oct. 26th, 2019. That night, he knocked out Genesis Wynn in the first round.

No further need for ESPN+ I guess. I only had it for Top Rank shows.

...and wow, I didn't know Charles Conwell suffered his first loss recently. I'll have to go check that out.

Man, that's going to suck. So are we done with the Mark Kregal and Joe Tessitore commentary? Mark was meh but I liked Joe's enthusiasm when he'd go nuts.

This also narrows down multiple bookings of fights on the same nights. So what are we left with nowadays besides ProBoxTV and DAZN?

Top Rank will probably land on Netflix. I heard something along those lines. Guess I will have to resub to Netflix if true.

I used to like Tessitore but at some point he became hyperbolic with the enthusiasm and Top Rank hype....it was too much. I remember after the Valdez/Navarrete fight, he was telling me that we just witnessed a Mexican classic and referenced Barrera/Marquez.

As for Kriegel, good riddance. I think Bernardo Osuna was my favorite on those telecasts.

I went back to the thread cause I thought I remembered you commenting on the fight.

You had it 7-5 Perez. Probably don’t remember cause it was followed by a forgettable main event.
