From what I recall, Bud is a very accomplished scholastic wrestler. It's one of those sports that helps immensely with other sports. Footwork, balance, explosive movements, hip positioning and leverage.

Ali, aka Kid World, was a good boxer but his amateur success didn't quite translate into the professional ranks. Don't get me wrong, he had a good career but his best wins were against a faded Abregu and a completely shopworn Cotto.

I mean, Nico isn't a grappler in any sense of the word. He's a (mediocre) boxer who may have also picked up some karate from his grandmother. So it's not at all surprising that a former academic wrestler like Crawford can easily slam him.

Probably anybody close to his size who has gone to 5 Judo classes could do that to Nico.
