He beat Kessler easily enough. Not saying he didn’t use the head but he was outboxing him quite clearly too. Wasn’t the cleanest of fighters but was definitely very effective. 168 Ward was a superb fighter, best I’d seen in the weight class since Roy.
Not saying much since the weight class is historically trash.

Like bragging and making a big deal of how Norman is the best welterweight in the world right now not taking into account its an absolute wasteland

no, he not beating bivol.. beterbiev maybe but no bivol. ward was having a hard time with drunk kovalev.

Black privilege is when an afro fighter gets to run around the ring to a decision and have it called something people think is some high and mighty shlt like "sweet science" .

Also people having short term memory like froid, roid Jones, James toney, Mosley and Ali failing drug tests and getting caught with steroids but it being overlooked and yet still being heralded as great fighters. Heck even in ufc, how many times did john jones get caught with steroids and they still wanna crown him the mma ATG?

You wasn't the person I was addressing. So you can keep this to your self. Plus every nationality and race cheats. I can go down a list but then once again that would disprove your talking point. Plus black people didn't invent the term sweet science lol nor are they ones who only slick box lol.

Ali wasn't well liked in his prime pre prison. Joe Frazier was more well liked by majority of America. Ali didn't become very popular until later in his career by majority of Americans. Floyd is well hated by boxing fans and media. Sugar Shane Mosley is grossly underrated. Canelo and many others failed drug test and are still considered all time greats. Jon Jones is not well liked or respected by ufc fans and media. Jon Jones is well liked by Dana white who basically owns the ufc. Thats too different things. There's no privilege in any of these arguments.

I actually think Ward beats Bivol pretty easily tbh.

The thread title reads like a comedy show really.

nah... bivol's boxing skill is just as good as ward maybe even better, but the difference is, bivol have a more active style whereas for Ward, he's too cautious. Bivol beats Ward to a decision. Ward's inactivity is what's gonna cost him the fight. Kov was landing shots on Ward, but Kov is not really a technical boxer like Ward and Bivol.
