I thought Loma was extremely skilled, wasn't black and liked administering punishment on his opponent. Inoue is another highly skilled fighter that likes to b-ang. It's called the hurt business for a reason!

Are there idiots on this site who dislike black fighters? Heck yeah! But there are also fans on this site who dislike Shakur because of his style and not his skin color. A good example are fighters such as Norman and Schofield. Both are Black yet skilled, but like to entertain and would rather go for a KO instead of just trying to get a decision.

Bottom line is every fanbase including Blacks have idiots that will always belittle a fighter of a different skin tone just because of their color, but that doesn't mean the whole fanbase thinks the same. A highly skilled fighter doesn't always fit the mold of a runner just like a fighter that likes to KO his opponents isn't just rock em sockem robot....
I seldom hear Black boxing fans denigrate fighters of other races over style, and I listen closely on FB and in boxing forums. The "runner" label is one that's only applied to very skilled Black fighters with unbeaten records who take very little punishment (Floyd, Shakur, etc.)

Did Shakur "run"' when he washed Oscar Valdez, a two division champ and Olympian? What will these same fans seu when he does the same to William Zepéda in a few weeks?

I'll respectfully disagree as I've visited a few of those YouTube channels and the comment sections are filled with Black boxing fans calling non Black fighters "rock em sock em" fighters because they might not be as elusive or as fleet footed as Shakur.

I've never heard a black boxing fan call Boots a rock em sock em fighter even though he likes to trade and doesn't fight like Shakur. Fact is that every fan base has their idiot that will always hate someone who isn't like them culturally or ethnically.

Now, it has to be said that when it comes to the Mexican boxing fanbase, you're gonna get a shiiiit load of posters because quite frankly there are more of them. There's a reason why Ginger gets more buys than Bud, even though Bud is a better boxer, in my opinion. More Mexicans support their fighters than Black Americans support Black American fighters and I wouldn't call Ginger a rock em sock em fighter at all, yet I've read some comments referring to Ginger as a rock em sock em fighter.

What will "those" fans say if Shakur beats Zepeda in a few weeks? I don't know, I guess if depends on the manner in which he fights. If he fights like he did against Padley, there is no way they can call him a runner. If he fights like he did against DLS or the way Devin fought against Ramirez, they more than likely will call him a runner.

I personally like the way Devin fights MOST of the time, but can understand why some fans said that he ran against Ramirez. I don't necessarily agree with them but can understand why they called him a runner.

Pitbull is a fun fighter, has that mean streak and a sick mask. He’s pretty damn popular Judging on the crowd noise when he brings it

I'm not much of a fan of his and thought he was easily outboxed by Valenzuela, but he is a fun fighter to watch and I can understand why he's popular. I enjoyed his last fight against the guy from Tijuana. Though he's limited, there's room for him in boxing, but I wouldn't favor him over many or any of the top guys in his division.

Canelo is a skilled counterpuncher, but nowhere near as skilled as Shakur or Bud. My only issues with Canelo are the gifts he's gotten (Trout, GGG 1 & 2) and the fact that he even from the Benavidez fight. I thought the Lara fight was a draw.

I'm Black American, but appreciate fighters of all races/groups. My favorite fighter is Crawford, but I have Monster P4P #1 because Inoue fights much more often than Bud. So does Usyk. I won't front.

My two favorites all-time are Salvador Sanchez and Aaron Pryor. Sanchez over Pryor because Sal never used drugs or cheated the sport. Anyone who doesn't recognize Sanchez as a Top 20 ATG is on drugs in my opinion.

I don't consider Shakur a runner. Only an idiot neglects their movement and boxing skills to slug with a slugger. A slugger like Zepéda only has one path to victory, if you give him that path.

As far as Pit Bull, I lost respect for him when he didn't go for the Valenzuela rematch. Gary Antjuan Russell had to show Pit Bull how it's done. I notice Pit Bull only prefers to fight guys who stand in front of him. I also noticed that he seems too small for 140.

I think Shakur's skills are on another level, I thought he looked great against Padley and did what folks were asking him to do which is to let his hands go and deliver a KO or TKO.

His issues are his hands which causes him to be conservative with his fists, but hopefully he can hire a hand wrapper that can fix his issues the way Mayweather did when he was having the same issues.
