I’m betting most managers wouldn’t have put Norman in with Boots right after he won the belt. Boots is in a hurry. Norman isn’t. Hearn was just trying to get a bargain for Norman’s services

What we know is that Murtazaliev will not be fighting Boots at 154 for at least two fights. If not more.

To paraphrase Golovkin: Brian Norman Jr is businessman, not idol of boxing.

When we reduce a sport to a business, the spirit of the sport is lost. I can't tell if Norman's move was savvy or not, but I can tell his team did not trust their fighter enough to put him against Ennis. Norman has no profile; beating Ennis would have not only guaranteed a nice paycheck but a rise in stature that would guarantee him even better-paying fights, perhaps an Ennis rematch in Philly for example.

**** the boxing is a business logic. This is not Wall Street, it's a ****ing sport.

Thomas Hearns defended his belt 3 times before he fought Leonard. That’s reasonable. Why should Norman be held to a different standard? Just because Eddie says so? There was no hurry, except Eddie wanted it.

Did you know that De Los Santos manager was being a crook. When he presented the fight to his fighter he told him the offer was 250k but really the offer was around 550k then when they offered more money to Bob Arum came out and told what the offer really was which was about 250k extra to fight the promoter told him the offer was only 50k. Blue Blood sports TV put it out there

Blue Blood?? Jeez bro, don't rely on his or those other YT channels. Those guys post nothing but opinions, they aren't reliable sources....
