Sanchez is a tubby Cuban stuff who's probably older than me. If Ajagba can't win the rematch against him, he has no business in a title fight.
Agree with both. Ajagba was almost falling off the map after Sanchez I, but it looks like he has added to his game (imo). Prove it in a rematch.

I know you notice like I notice how Joseph Parker seems content just fighting contenders and not for the real belts.

Parker always took his L's with a big smile. Very content guy.

But Ajagba really lost almost every round against Sanchez, a rematch makes no sense for him. He will make more money in Bakole rematch and it is much more winnable fight.
It seemed like a tough needle to thread though. I agree he either shoulda/coulda won that fight with Bakole - I really like what Efe showed in his overall game, but he might have had to do too much moving just to stay alive. As good as I thought he switched it up, even his trainer told in in the last couple of rounds, something to the effect of ..."I know you can box Efe, but you have to do more now"

Every time he had to stop, Bakole was back on top of him. Back when he fought Sanchez, he was so stiff, he made the static older guy look more athletic. This time around, with the improvements he might have added, he could really show up against this Sanchez. You and I think he could have beaten Bakoke, so if he comes back and win this rematch, he feels like a real product again. At least that's what I'd hope.

I mean... sure. Why not at this point? It will be a fine undercard addition to another fight. Not like the IBF is making things up as they go or anything.

Last I saw of Frank, he looked a bit out of shape with a bum knee while getting pummeled.by Kabayel. I have a sneaking su****ion there isn't much "flash" left in that Cuban.

I give Efe credit, he had a run of unimpressive performances (Kildaze, Cojanu, Sanchez, Rice) but he's somehow managed to stay relevant (relatively).

How come Kabayel isn't getting the opportunity ? He beat Sanchez.

He’s WBC interim/mandatory, and though he should be, he’s not in the IBF’s top 15

edit: just double checked , he’s not in any of the other sanctioning bodies Top 15 outside of WBC.

I know Champions aren’t ranked in other top 15s, but Interims get removed too?

I think with the difference in activity levels, and Sanchez' knee injury and being out of shape and getting KO'd, I think this swings in the direction of Efe. I mean, I would bet anything I own that no one will ever see that man out of shape!! Impossible. He is slow and lack some instincts but that man is Adonis!

Yes, which is very strange. He always seems to get big fights too.
