I hope he treats the 154 division better than he treated 147.

He ducked Vergil to fight an unknown euro. If he does anything but petition for a title shot right away at 154 this is dumb

A duck would be if he says no to an Ortiz fight now, which I'm willing to guarantee he won't.
I swear, I want to stay off these forums… Turki offered Boots the biggest bag of his life after Boots called out the 154 division after beating Karen! He got scared and ducked Virgil. Bottom line

I thought Ennis wanted to unify at 147, I guess that he changed his mind. Whoever is advising him isn't doing a great job. Whatever is the reality, it should be obvious by now that Boots doesn't really care about his legacy, and isn't that different from the Teos and Gervontas of the world of boxing. Norman-Ennis would have been an excellent fight, and pretty much 50-50.

I think Boots will go for Thurman or the winner of Tszyu and Fundora next, the lowest hanging fruit, of course.

There's no way in hell that anyone in their right mind would have been eager to face Boots after sitting ringside for that fight. I never heard Errol publicly say the words, "I wanna fight Boots". I never heard Bud say that either. They're not scared, but they know boxing very well. They know that for them, Boots would be in super condition mentally and physically and razor sharp, and they both know that would be a hell of a battle. Any one who has ever boxed b4 can easily understand that Boots is nothing to play with.
I highly doubt we'll be seeing Spence again in the ring.

No doubt! Boots' Promotional issues didn't help either! Why fight on PBC shows, but not sign with PBC?

I love Boots, but I'm afraid his career will not get him where he needs to be! He should've taken that fight with Vergil Ortiz Jr. I remember when Crawford said, "We ain't thinking about Pacquiao...if he wants to fight, he has to come to 140!" That was biggest mistake Crawford ever made! I know Vergil Ortiz Jr. is not Paquiao, but you don't turn down a fight like that to fight Stanionis! Now that he's heading to 154, I think he should immediately challenge for the IBF title, then let the chips fall where the may!

Agreed, I've only heard Bud making excuses why NOT to fight Boots. Heck, I think he even came clean once and said that Boots was high risk/low reward. As for Errol, he may not be publicly admitting it, but those car crashes and then annihilation by Crawford pretty much finished him. His brain was likely cumulatively impacted.
