This isn't really news as b sample is same as the A sample just split into different containers. It will always be positive if the first one is unless the slim slim chance there was lab contamination intentionally whilst splitting the samples. He can still go the it was contamination route like most boxers and get a short ban like a year

As a fan of Munguia.... I am very, very bummed. But He failed, and I hope the suspension is lengthy and the verdict moved to a no-contest. Even if he can prove some sort of incidental contamination (and I have zero idea how you can "prove" that), this is a combat sport and drugs have to be punished severely when discovered. It is bad enough in other sports, but you are TRYING to hurt someone in these sports. Cheating on top of bad intentions just cannot be excused.

Frankly, if I were Jaime, I'd be pissed. Not only did he get caught, but that shit he took didn't work!

This is how us as fans need to handle these situations. I would be extremely disappointed if we found out some of my current favorite fighters were using drugs.

The problem with this sport is that the officials never properly hold ANYONE accountable. It doesn't help that you get fans making excuses for their favorite fighters when they do test positive.

There's hardly ever any backlash for a fighter for cheating. Whether it's from the fans or the officials.

We need to hold our favorite fighters accountable.

The word on the streets of Tijuana is that the green salsa on the tacos were contaminated, not the meat itself. Per Munguia's IG, he's presenting a half eaten taco with the salsa to present to the commission as his evidence...
