  • Since Crawford vs Canelo is officially on Netflix, is it fair to say Crawford is "Superstar" Status

We always talked about Crawford not being able to sell and not being "known" by the public. With this fight being announced on a major platform, is it safe to say Crawford has crossed over on the "mainstream".

Lol no. I'm a big Crawford fan and glad he whooped spencerina but he isn't. It's just a rich guy who wanted to see the fight and make it happen. That's it. He has the charisma of a goldfish

No. Turki is bankrolling the event and taking the risk here. Without Turki as guarantor it's doubtful Netflix would be involved.

It’s a fact. Both Terence “Bud” Crawford’s brand and profile has risen considerably since winning the Errol Spence fight.

He even admitted it himself. If it hadn’t then he would have never gotten this opportunity to fight Saul Alvarez..

Will be interesting to see the numbers this does.

It's on a pay TV platform but it's one that is very accessible and most people have already. Boxing is finally taking a massive fight and not hiding it behind a paywall. That's how you grow a sport.

This might actually make Bud a star if the fight delivers.
