On a pure skill level he was as good as it gets but I think his age and (at 135) size made him more beatable than he might have otherwise been.

Prime Loma ruins Tank and easily takes that precious 0.

I'm not siding with either. Maybe Loma would have won. Ive seen Tanks team make those comments in the past that you mention. Neither team were interested in making that fight back then. I have also seen Loma going back 5 years saying he doesn't need Tank when asked about a fight with him. There was never any serious discussions or offers. Only time there was, was last year when Tanks team offered them a fight, Loma refused and his manager said 'he has no motivation' as proven a year later with his retirement. So he could have fought him now there was still time. And Shakur fight was still a potential. That isn't me hating i think Loma could have won both but he also could have lost. Lets stop hyping him like he is top 10 all time he has 3 losses to Salido Haney and Teo so there is no guarantee who would have won in the Tank/Shakur fights. What we know for a fact is he has 3 Ls and his stans make excuses for every single one.

Loma ducked nobody and repeatedly called out Davis..Lima stated “He did not “need” Davis after it was clear Davis was not going to step up and make the fight. Floyd stated(Tank not ready for Loma yet) Team Tank/Pbc mindset was - they were not going to fight a PRIME Loma and risk that all important 0. Plain and simple. And of course Tank finally calls out Loma in public bc He much older and clearly past it. Tank has not and probably wont ever dare to be great and move up in weight. He obviously all about the $..not greatness.

No he ducked Tank too. And like i said when there was an offer last year he ducked. Before that there was mever any discussions. He also ducked the Shakur offer. Arum confirmed this he said Loma didn't want to due to Ukraien war (of which he does not even fight in just does a photo op like Usyk). So he ducked them before. He retired now confirming further ducks when he had the opportunity to stay active and try to make the fight. Him and M Tyson are the most over rated names ever in boxing. World class but over rated in terms they are way over hyped when do not have as big wins as some of the greats. Both get hyped up as they are like some top 5-10 all time fighters

no “likes” for your “comment”..hmm wonder why? Because your opinion of Loma goes against 99% of knowledgeable boxing fans, writers, commentators and experts. So enjoy yourself in the “lonely” one percent. Oh and btw - of course Pbc offered a fight to Loma last year - like was stated before - when Loma obviously past his prime. When your mentor and promoter at the time(Mayweather) states his fighter Tank - who is already a champion - “Tank ain’t ready for Loma yet”. Basically saying we are not putting the undefeated cash cow against a prime “Loma”. Tank himself during interview about 2/3 yrs ago when he AGAIN is asked by the boxing media about fighting Loma - “ a few more fights - then we will
fight Loma”. Basically saying - a few more years so Loma is well past his prime and vulnerable. Let me see, so Loma supposedly has been “ducking”short, one trick pony Tank, but fights bigger younger undefeated fighters Lopez and Haney? Laughable. Tank just got schooled and embarrassed by a light hitting fighter who had no fear of him and actually had solid boxing skills. Prime Loma easily fustrates and stops Tank..probably quits on his stool ala Walters/Rigo. Or Tank gets disqualified for taking a knee then embarrassingly running to his
corner bc his eyes are supposedly stinging from “hair products”. What a joke!

Im not a Tank stan either same goes for him both should have fought each other. Loma also said he doesn't need Tank in 2020. Facts are he lost to Salido, lost his 2 biggest fights to Haney and Teo. Claimed no motivation for holding belt hostage and then retired. Again im not saying he isn't world class, he is, but still way over hyped. Not even the best of his generation but people want to hype him up like some top 10 all time
