Even if Plant were to completely embarrass Resendiz last night, I don’t want to see him vs Charlo. If the latter is legitimately trying to better himself mentally, then the fight would just reek of kicking a man when he’s down. The ship has sailed.

I am willing to give Charlo one more shot to see where he really is against someone credible. Resendiz would be nice. Plant? I don’t care to see him again. The guy has no power, so he can’t trouble the new crop, he’s clearly unable to throw anything more than a jab/retreat combo on repeat, and man he fades. Hard. What is left for him other than getting hurt? Ginger, Monster, and Mustache put the beating trifecta on him and slowed his reflexes considerably, which was probably the one excellent tool in his arsenal. That’s gone now.

That's what I witnessed as well, slow, missing like crazy and just a shell of himself and not sharp at all, but was facing a scared bum!

It's true, Plant didn't have enough to win last night, and we are probably witnessing his inevitable decline.
But he didn't disgrace himself, not even close. He took a beating and never stopped trying. Big respect for that alone.
