Resendiz stepped up and knocked it out of the park, while Plant looks like a spent bullet. Using Breadman's own words about the limited life of high strung fighters, Plant has had a visible tendency to be high strung, which affects his stamina and general performance. He's never looked too relaxed in the ring, especially in the later rounds. Resendiz definitely was the one who made the right changes when needed, viva México. I do wonder how he would do against Charlo. I wish Plant good, but he's no longer elite and should consider retiring.

I don't get the hate tho with Plant, maybe I missed something? It's not like he is a racist or an ******* who talks **** about other boxers without a reason. Just because the dude grew up poor is no reason to be demeaned as trailer trash or hillbilly. He has a surly side and can be reactive, I don't think some of his actions are commendable, but it's not like he was being treated nicely in those moments. Why should a boxer be expected to act squeaky clean, humble and turn the other cheek always?

Mexican fighters with good records are not to be underestimated.

Wow! This is just incredible! I must admit that this outcome was both shocking and surreal. Perhaps, Plant was not as good as everyone believed he was.

I would have never believed in a million years that Caleb Plant would lose to a cherry-picked opponent as Armando Resendiz like that.

someone asked the other day............. are you even going to watch the card and yea of course i said i do not like plant but a fight might break out and you never know what is going to happen inside the ropes. there you have it, nice little win for Razzin and seems most people did not like Plant anyhow so there is that that makes the win even more satisfying..........Ewwww with the Bowl of Cornflakes bout that was just ******. The Cuban was a good warm up fight to set the night up not bad for a basic free fight card and a card to set up Senior Manny i dont know about all that stuff and for a high price, another card to talk about another day.

I thought the fight was entertaining. Glad 2 of the 3 judges actually watched the fight, as opposed to turning in a card that was filled out ahead of time based on what they thought was going to happen like that other scrub did.

There are still some major flaws with his style. He can’t throw an overhand right to save his life. He throws what looks like a straight right, not even a right cross. It has zero power on it and lands like a jab. It literally looks like the horse stance punch taught in Karate and TKD. He carries his hands too low particularly his left and he was timed all night with the overhand right.

He won't. He's too arrogant and lacks SELF-AWARENESS.

115-113 Plant is just ridiculous, this judge should never call another fight again.
That judge is David Sutherland. It's on record now and can't be unseen.
Here's a suggestion to BoxingScene and all the contributing writers:

Just as you keep fighters' rankings and records on file, do the same with judges, and publish them on your pages.
Maybe even do some investigative journalism about the worst offenders. Let the sunlight of facts be the disinfectant boxing needs.

It wouldn't be that hard to make them accountable in the public's eye.
