They picked Barrios because he’s the WBC champion and he won’t get literally killed like he would if he fought the only other champion.

Barrios is an average fighter but he’s a current world class WW and champion. Pacquaio is shot and literally geriatric. Did you read the part where he got beat up by a kick boxer? Pacquaio could barely move in that bout. Thats not even an exaggeration. I strongly suggest you watch that bout if you actually really think he has any kind of chance of beating Barrios.

I was told the kick-boxer he had the bout with is a good kick boxer, I don’t know I don’t follow that sport.

But Pacquaio legitimately looked closer to 60 years old in that bout, it was sad to watch. He should not be getting sanctioned to fight any boxers in general let alone ones holding title belts.
