Josh Taylor lost his mojo some time ago - probably the moment the climbed to the peak of his career achievement by becoming undisputed at 140. After the Ramirez fight he was no longer the same fighter. The first Catterall fight was the beginning of the slide. He just does not have it any more. Time to hang them up.

Yup, time for Taylor to move on to something else. He doesn't have the durability, firepower, or stamina to compete among the top guys at 14 stone 7.
Taylor telegraphed as much when he was quoted in a recent BoxingScene article, ‘I could retire tomorrow a happy man’.
Josh you had a great career and entertained with some incredible fights. I think it's time to hang it up champ with your head held high. I'm shocked that you think you won this fight and I was also shocked that your corner wasn't direct with you about being well behind on the cards. If you wanted to give it one more fight, you need to get a new corner as the honesty about the fight, urgency and advice wasn't there. The fact that you left the rimg thinking you won, maybe 1 more fight with a new team is a possibility.
