Of course he should step up now, but his choice of opponents (and when to provide real tests) is about the $$$.
Frank has his business plan and will stick to it, much to our chagrin.

      3. How can you not move him up to someone relatively dangerous at this point. Quit with all of this protecting the zero crap!!!!!
When Balogun started throwing those fast shots, I was impressed for about 12 seconds, and thought, "hmmm, maybe this will get interesting."
But no. Of course it didn't.

I think everyone knew this was just a televised sparring match to make Itauma look good. Fine, mission accomplished,. Since he barely worked, I love the idea of a quick turnaround to this Summer to force him to be disciplined and keep working in the gym. Even if you settle for a top 20 type opponent as opposed to a top 10, at least Itauma has to be focused physically which is something elite level athletes need to learn.

If he has a chin , then it's just a matter of time until Itauma is the Heavyweight Champion of the World. His offense is pure fire. I sincerely hope that he has the chin to go with his offensive ability. Itauma is ready to be let off of the chain now in my opinion. Either he will swim or he will sink. I have a feeling that he is going to swim. The problem with a guy as good as him is that the guys who might be able to test him aren't going to want to get in the ring with him unless he's a mandatory or his promoter is willing to invest in getting him some tests and then a title shot. I think that Itauma is worth playing the long game. I'd try to get him Bakole or Jared Anderson next.

Guys like that don't want that work , it's not good for their careers or health. Who's going to be eager to fight him ?

This fight was only made to fuel the hype
Not saying he’s a hyped fighter but gotta keep his name relevant
              All filler no thriller

                Hopefully he has a chin.

He got a huge head with decent chin width and a thick neck. I imagine he takes a better shot than the two British HW peanut heads (AJ and DDD).

Balogun fought like an absolute fool. Of course Itauma looked good.

Kid has insane reflexes. I will say that.

Next step should be a faded former name with zero defense like Whyte.

He looks good but this fight was a step backwards or at least not a progression from Mckean.

Needs to step up a couple of levels. This kind of fight is doing nothing for him
