No, Roach absolutely did say when he sees Manny is starting to decline he will ask him to stop. I specifically remember this quote. It was when Manny was still at his peak superhero powers. Can't remember which fight it was before. Sadly, Roach did not back up those words. But he is forever loyal to Manny I guess. Except that time he said he thought Floyd won the fight. Not long after that Floyd was spotted at the Wildcard. Was he delivering the bag of money for Roach saying that?? If anything Pac Floyd was a draw, no clear winner. Holyfield even said he thought Pac won. Floyd ducking the rematch was telltale.Comment

Aren't WBC rankings made by a panel of men? A group of guys nodding that Manny Pacquiao should be ranked 5th is not a mistake it was on purpose.Comment

"I’ll urge beaten Manny Pacquiao to quit, says trusted trainer Freddie Roach after Jeff Horn upset"
“I’m going to talk to Manny about maybe calling it a day, maybe this is it,” Roach said.
"Roach to talk to Pacquiao about retirement after Horn loss"
Roach had said in the build-up to the fight that he may advise his fighter to retire depending on how he loses, or even if he wins but doesn’t perform well.
“I’m gonna have a long talk with him about that. Because I think maybe being a senator, being a fighter, both is maybe too much,” said Roach after Pacquiao (59-7-2, 38 knockouts) lost a unanimous decision on Sunday, July 2, to long shot underdog Horn (17-0-1, 11 KOs) at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.

Same with Horn.
Same with Bradley.
You can't put Manny and Spence in the same category on any levelComment
