Lol there's NO history besides Khan and you can't just stereotype an entire race by one fighter!

Also, I disagree that he's overrated...he DESTROYED Williams, Ukrainian Olympian, Denny & Ammo who are all DECENT fighters (although no world beaters hence Williams falling short every time he challenged for a world title). However, he definitely lost the Adames fight and now he has to PROVE that is was due to an off night/hand injury/trainer/weight etc instead of reaching his CEILING.

There is no history of top fighters at 160 LBS or more, both nations having been producing boxers for decades..

I am correct. To quote Khan, Pakistanians are lovers, not fighters.

Like I said it is a build thing. In North American sports, I can not name five quality pro's in the NFL, NBA, NHL, Tennis, MLB, or Soccer that are Pakistani or Indian as there are very few sub 160 pound men in them.

Nishant Dev currently fights @ 154lbs but will probably move up and has the POTENTIAL to fight for a world title one day.

Sheeraz, he may of been overhyped by myself included, think I called him future of the mw division...which he obviously isn't or wasn't but Berlanga just isn't very good. at least Sheeraz has a good jab. Sheeraz by mid to late stoppage or wide pts win.

Interesting! I’m rooting for Sheeraz but will pick Berlanga in the Pick ‘Em simply because I think coming off a ‘loss’ and moving to a new weight class with a new trainer will be too much for Sheeraz. He also seems a bit mentally FRAGILE after the recent criticism but I hope you’re right!

He is below 160 now. If if fights for a title at 154, which he is a long way off from, then we shall see. IMO, he is the best Indian prospect now, and maybe ever.

The middle weight divsion is at a very low tide.

Agreed...Dev is definitely the BEST Indian prospect above 154lbs (although there are at least 2 others I consider just as good). However, as far as Sheeraz is concerned, I DON'T think you can consider him a failure just because he arguably lost his last fight (CompuBox stats were 143 vs. 135 & 7-5 in Adames' favour). After all, not many fighter's have the talent to even fight for a world title plus PLENTY of boxers have won a world title after losing e.g. Khan, Marquez, Lomachenko, Hopkins etc. Don't be so quick to write him off.

It is not just a build thing. To an extent yeah like mexican pro boxers you will find more less than 160lbs then 160+ but also hard to judge when in general south asians don't play those sports you mention on a large enough scale where a lot can break out in pro ranks. In India / Pakistan, cricket by far is the biggest sport (the game between them gets more viewers than any sport you mention inc the superbowl. A lot of the fighters like Hamzah now are 2nd or 3rd generation British Pakistanis, they get into boxing in the UK as they are born and brought up there. That is why there are more and more on uk cards as since Khan they also now have more opportunities to go pro or be signed by the likes of warren and eddie etc
