    Naoya is the BETTER puncher

He puts opponents out downstairs or upstairs using either hand and can do so from all ranges

Deontay was a long right and that’s it

he somehow did not know how to throw a right hook in close quarters

instead opting for a right palm smack

Wilder was great against those bums he lined up or guys like Scott who went down untouched. Strangely it didn't transfer to top level

There's no measure of hardest puncher.

They don't get pros on measuring equipment to see who can actually punch the hardest.

The reason is that, while it would be moderately interesting, it really doesn't matter how hard you CAN punch. It matters whether you can box and deliver a punch that is effective in the ring.

At the top level, Wilder can't.

Yeah but at the bottom level he can. Imagine what he can do at the top level!

I think wilder might just punch harder. But that's all

Punching power is not something that's pound for pound. I guarantee Wilder's punch is harder. That's just physics

Inoue is clearly the more successful puncher.

You have to take in account that he's moved up 5 divisions, and is still KOing everyone.

90% KO rate vs predominantly world title opponents. That's nuts.

If Inoue stayed at 118, he'd be a more devastating 1 punch artist.

Even though Wilder fought in the shlttiest HW era in the history of the sport, his comp was better than The "Monster's"
