what difference does any of that make? Doctor stopped the fight, that's a TKO if the cut was caused by a punch (it was)

It's debatable but to my eyes, not only was it a punch but Suarez was consistently countering and making Nav miss. He got jobbed hard. Nav was unsteady as all get out after the cut but probably could have continued.

Navarrete was winning but was starting to get hit backing up due to the cut. I thought the stoppage was premature but it was pretty clearly from a punch.

It was confirmed at the end of the broadcast that the cut was caused by a punch. After being shown all the different angles of video evidence, even Bernardo, who was insisting it was a headbutt had to capitulate and admit that it was clearly a punch that caused the cut.
