Any kind of style can bring excitement and entertainment value as long as the said fight is active and engages often in order to win, reason why Stevenson was initially appreciated for being able to fight at any range and keep active like Whitaker below lightweight.

But there seems to be a bias towards defending minimalist "slick" boxers from USA that fight in a loow risk to get a high reward style, like Haney, Hitchins and Stevenson. Haney and Steven likely do so because they can't longer take advantage of modern nutrition to have a significantly size advantage, not sure why Hitchins does so though, as he hasn't moved up yet.

(Good thing there is Gervonta Davis, O'Shaquie Foster and Jaron Ennis who are entertaining when it comes to a boxer puncher style.)

Whereas as fighters who do the exact same thing such as William Scull, Alberto Puello or Denis Berinchyk get criticism for it.

for me clean punching is king

super active but sloppy accuracy eg Shawn Porter is hard on the eyes

Boxing should adopt the UFC model of pitting the best against the best as soon as possible and only having ONE champion per weight class.

Boxers should take risks and not be afraid to lose instead of chasing the money and protecting their '0s'.

Disagree...look at the difference between Garcia vs. Haney & Garcia vs. Rolly.

The more the time passes by, the uglier Canelo Alvarez becomes.
