I love Teddy but sometimes he has some hot takes. If I bent over backwards and gave rounds to Scull…the absolute best he’s doing is five rounds. How anyone would get to anything beyond that is asinine. And I’m not saying Canelo had a masterful performance either. Just saying what a ****show it would be if Scull had walked with all the belts after such a performance.

Well Scull almost fought an identical fight to Devin Haney and lost. Devin won by a landslide while Scull lost unanimously to Canelo

Even as at least in my judgement; Jose Ramirez outperformed Canelo Alvarez. So what was the difference? Why was Canelo given the decision while Ramirez did not?

They fought basically and identically the same fight against so-called runners However, only one ended up winning their fight.

I’m genuinely tempted to watch and compare the fights again but…oof. Even I, who don’t mind rewatching and re-scoring fights, find that as an uphill battle.

I watched both fights live and saw Haney loosened up slightly midway through the fight. But again, they were both God awful. I guess I’ll have to throw myself on that grenade and rewatch them, as much as it would kill me.

Scull didnt do enough... not the same like in Canelo vs Lara.... Lara was at least throwing back! Lara has a better case for a robbery.

I fell asleep in that fight. I would never rewatch it again to see if Scull truly won. I just don't care. Canelo is boring these days. His style is boring. He's lost the will to give fans what they really want to see. Yeah, Crawford is coming up and it'll be one to watch finally just because it involves Crawford too, but otherwise Canelo fights have been nearly a chore these days just to get through. He doesn't give a f**k about opinions and just wants to continue banking ridiculous paychecks for putting on mediocre performances against a lot of opponents nobody wanted him to fight.

the difference is devin Haney landed all the hard impact shots and in the Canelo fight Canelo landed all the hard impactful shots.. devin fought like a guy who was scared to get hit, scull fought like a guy there to survive.. on top of that Canelo held scull to 19% also devin outlanded Ramires by 20 punches while scull got outlanded.
only thing similar is both Devin and scull moved way to much
