Devin Haney was being Devin Haney. He has never been a puncher or one to put punches together. He is basically a one two fighter.

You are right. Hopefully, he improves, starts to believe himself and get better. However, if he doesn't; Then perhaps retirement wouldn't sound like such a bad idea.

but they all know the fans wont watch them after that
the difference between floyd and haney/shakur is that everyone hates floyd
they all watch him to see him lose
