If AJ/Wilder was announced, I would watch it. Both are past their prime but who knows what would happen. It would be like they Cooney/Foreman fight...not relevant but still interesting and perhaps a springboard to something more meaningful.

I believe Wilder still has it. He had never fought a live young guy before Parker. As for Zhang he is huge and has tremendous power. These losses could have happened at any time in his career. Wilder is still top-5 just like he always was.

If I was AJ - I would not fight Wilder right now. Wilder just has too much power and is fast too. Wilder is a guy you fight for the belt, not in a non-title fight. AJ has a terrible chin, anyone fast, with power will land on AJ.

Man, if you rewatch Wilder and fury 1, Wilder looked so good. But man, I think that trilogy took everything out of him. He looked like a completely different fighter Zhang & Parker. He stopped throwing his big punches and started trying to box but never let his hands go again. Sadly, I think he’s done.
