I doubt it. Murtazaliev did real damage and since Tim is the money he's not likely to take a risk when he can just as easily fight Keith Thurman for significantly more money and less risk.

I think he can at least try going down to 147 for one fight against Boots
The last time Vergil was at 147, he had a bout with rhabdomyolysis. He CANNOT make 147 again.

Murtazaliev is Russian, and currently holds the IBF title. If Thurman was audacious, he'd go after Murtazaliev.

People are saying Tszyu was looking great against Fundora until the cut, Fundora had less then 2 weeks for a training camp, now we're getting fully prepared and champion Fundora. I expect Tim to have some success early on but succumb to Fundora's pressure.

Meanwhile Tszyu was having his way with Fundora until that cut. 50-50 kinda fight in the rematch.

Wonder if the money just wasn't there for Fundora-Xayas.

              1. Fundora/Bohachuk was the original co-main before Thurman pulled out, so he was physically prepared for a fight.
              2. It's more difficult to prepare for someone like Fundora because he's unique. Tszyu probably has to find 175lb sparring partners before he comes close to Fundora's physical dimensions.
              3. Fundora beat Tszyu because he used his height/reach advantage. I don't think Fundora will be pressuring Tszyu in the rematch, but rather forcing Tszyu to chase and initiate. If Fundora pressures, he'll probably walk into something.

Will Fundora gotta get the bag from somewhere especially seen as he turn the Crawford fight down and missed out on the biggest bag possible.
tryed to double back an Crawford's told him to do one.

Tazsu is the next best possible out come if your seeking the big bag.

If Tim's got anything left ?, it's curtains for Fundora seen as Tim was winning the first 2/3 rounds of that 1st fight,

Xayas is very, very easy to hit and has absolutely no power.

Top Rank has been scamming their PR fanbase with this hypejob for years. When he fights a live body, it's lights out.

Yeah, I see that angle but let's not forget that in 2025 unification is always high on the agenda & Thurman doesn't offer unification.
