How the **** is there a lack of entertainment options in the UK? its one of the most densely packed markets in the world.

It crossed over because its Nigel and Eubank Srs kids fighting, and because boxing is relatively main****** there.

Fair play to both fighters this wasn't a pantomime, it was a proper scrap from to commited fighters, i saw it as a draw, rematch ll

It was main****** in large part because their Dads were main******, the older couples you heard will remember the huge 90s bouts on free to air TV.

There's no lack of entertainment in the UK but as Larry Merchant said, everyone wants to see a bloody good fight.

Great fight. But? It was very apparent from the opening rounds that Chris Eubank Junior was severely weight drained at the weight 'I think what got him through this fight, was his experience and the fact that there was just too much on the line. Eubank Junior definitively needs to move up to 168 pounds, or at the very least avoid fighting at 160 pounds with a 10 rehydration clause. But I am aware that those are the IBF rules, so those factors need to be considered by Chris Eubank Junior and his team'.

Regardless even if Chris Eubank Junior was weight drained at the weight 'I don't think that version of Eubank Junior, was much different to the versions we have seen of him in his last few fights vs Liam Smith II and Kamil Szeremeta. The only difference is? Conor Benn pushed Chris Eubank Junior more than those fighters'.

Note: To his credit Conor Benn even while suffering a loss 'Leaves the ring with credit. Liam Smith against Aaron Mckenna looked no different than he did vs Chris Eubank Junior II, in my opinion? There was not much of a marked difference between his conditioning, movements and boxing technique. Benn produced a better effort vs Eubank Junior than Smith did in their second fight'.

Liam Smith of course won his first contest against Chris Eubank Junior I 'But it was blatantly obviously, that he was suffering from the negative effects of the prior training camp which he had to endure for the very first Conor Benn fight. Training to make the catch weight of 156 pounds, and the rehydration clause of 6 pounds did in my opinion? Have an accumulative negative effect of Chris Eubank Junior's conditioning and well being. And by the time he eventually fought Liam Smith I in their first fight? Eubank Junior was still suffering from the chronic effects of that brutal training camp. Since that period in Eubank Junior's career, it looks like it has accelerated his decrease in overall form and conditioning at 160 pounds. It is extremely clear to me, that he needs to move up to 168 pounds for the rest of his career and compete at a more natural and safe fighting weight'.

To conclude: Overall I think Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Junior was a great event 'And both fighters have come out of the fight with credit for different reasons. Chris Eubank Junior was having to win battles before even stepping in the ring. Such as making the 160 weight limit, then adhering to the 10 pound rehydration clause. Once Eubank Junior made the 10 pound rehydration clause on the day of the fight, I thought that regained him back some credit for marginally missing the 160 pound weight limit by 0.5 pounds'.

I think Conor Benn for the first time in a professional fight 'Showed some genuine ability above domestic level in my opinion. Benn was very energetic, fought a very strong fight for 12 rounds straight. I was impressed by his performance, and I definitively think he can fight for a World title in the future at 147 pounds. I don't think losing to Chris Eubank Junior is a negative on his resume, I personally actually rate the fight as his best ever performance in his career. Conor Benn put a lot pressure on himself, in a fight were he could have so easily been blasted out inside a few rounds'.

On the topic of Chris Eubank Junior 'I think for the remainder of his career, he should compete at 168 pounds. Eubank Junior has clearly tried is best to maintain his form at 160 pounds, but the weight draining tactics have just accumulated too much damage on him physiologically. Chris Eubank Senior was right, in stating that Eubank Junior is a 168 pound fighter' etc.

Agree with a lot of what you say but the reason Eubank fights at MW is that at SMW it's packed full of LHWs boiling themselves down so he is at a significant disadvantage. His best weight is probably somewhere in-between MW and SMW and able to rehydrate as desired.
