Comments Thread For: Caleb Plant will always find someone to beef with

Caleb Plant?s brand of psychological warfare is an established art, and on Thursday it was Thomas LaManna ? who isn't even Plant's May 31 opponent ? who was his canvas.

Plant doesn’t start arguments but he damn sure finishes them. Caleb should be fighting two times a year a year instead of annually. I think he should fight Eubank next but that’s my opinion.

Plant is always entertaining. His "shoveling dirt" on Anthony Dirrell after he knocked him out was dope.

Plant is overrated. He does what he does, to keep his career going. He's like Adrienne Broner. He's very strategic.

Folks don't get that. It's always the second guy that gets demonized for defending themselves with more force than the initiator. Most of the beef dude has had is him responding to the disrespect. Dude just stands on business when he sees them in person. That's what real men do. Simple as that.

Overrated? He’s a Golden Gloves Champion. 97 amateur wins, a Former World Champion. He is one of the fastest boxers and certainly the fastest in his division. He almost took Canelo the distance and took Benavidez the distance. In so doing, he also won many rounds in that fight. His gas tank ultimately got him. Overrated? Not even close.

Caleb has some solid names on his resume, but his best win by far, is when he slapped Big Charlo across his jaw, creating a masterpiece instant classic that will live in the history of boxing forever. He slapped Charlo so good, that he froze and didn't know how to react to it. Charlo's mouth got dry, his lips chapped, his taste buds closed up, his ear was ringing, his eye was tearing up, and instead of saying Lions Only, he purred and said "meeooowww". His tail curled up and he went home and drank some warm milk, layed down and licked his own balls until he fell alseep

Many rounds? Ginger put him down and Benavidez 9-3d him, 8-4 at the worst
