WBA maneuvering the Garcia/Romero winner into an undeserved title shot, while also allowing them to parade around with a trinket after the fight. And now it's confirmed that Ennis must face Giyasov in 4 months. Meanwhile the WBC is probably going to let Barrios face a geriatric Pacquiao. Boxing is so frustrating.

"A request was made with the WBC by MP Promotions, who represents Magsayo along with TGB Promotions on behalf of Premier Boxing Champions, to push back the hearing to April 29. Representatives from Matchroom Boxing, “Rocky” Hernandez’s promoter, were included on an email notice obtained by BoxingScene.

The two sides have made proper use of the extra time to negotiate terms. BoxingScene has learned that, with a deal in place, the fight could take place in July.

One targeted destination for the final eliminator would be a PBC show headlined by the rumored Mario Barrios-Manny Pacquiao WBC welterweight title fight."

It seems as though powerful forces are trying to force Boots away from his titles and out of the division. Even if they strip him, he should be the mandatory for anyone who is somehow elevated to his stripped championship belt. He's just better than anyone else out there by far.

Can't blame Barrios if its an option, it would probably be his biggest payday and Pac hasn't fought in a while he could be very diminished and maybe Barrios thinks he can win.

I remember a few years back the WBA proudly proclaiming they were going to get rid of all their "super" and secondary belts that littered all of the weight classes. As of cleaning up their own mess was something to brag about.

And now they revert to their slimy ways.
