    Who’s the bigger star ???
Pretty sure that Shakur is making more money than Berlanga

Do you think MR is angry to see him go? If so, then they shouldn't have drawn up such a lenient contract. Mr doesn't need Shakur because they have Ennis, whom they should be placing all of their energy behind.

Shakur left TR over money and lack of opportunity. By settling for Dibella, he's supposedly saving money. Shakur is who he is: a skilled yet pretty boring fighter whom no promoter will be able to build into a superstar. He might as well save money by going with the cheapest promoter.

          Yes I do
Slow Eddie was counting on that Davis fight coming through plus all the media publicity and work that has gone into it only to be on the end of nothing
Slow Eddie got him big money for Padley and subsequently getting him his pay for Zepeda
          Wouldn’t you be pissed

I amended my first comment. MR surely knew that this was a possibility because IT WAS IN THE CONTRACT. Shakur was only with MR for 8 months, so not much time/energy was lost. MR has an entire stable to look after, so Hearn would be dumb/immature to take it personally. I assume he foresaw this, based on some of his comments prior to signing Shakur.

When you bring in a fighter to your stable there is a ton of work that goes into it and time
Do end up with nothing , surely makes it personal imo
And who will give him another contract with leniency ???

Seems like Stevenson had an opt out of his contract with Slow Eddie
His fight with Zepeda will be promoted by Big Lou DiBella as his new promoter.
There should be no surprise. Once you become an established name in the sport, no reason why you should sign long-term deals with any promoter.

Turki is what these guys' main target. They go to Fast Eddie first because he's the one accessible everywhere serving as bridge to Turki.

It's the same with Crawford's case. He went to Fast Eddie first, then when he found a way to talk directly to Turki, Fast Eddie no longer had any point of being the middle man.
All roads lead to $$$$$$$$$$$$. Like they say, "follow the money."

                  Greeed baby, greeed.

I'm pretty sure Hearn isn't losing sleep; he has enough promotional experience to build some callous over fighters leaving. Do you think Arum was losing sleep when Shakur left?Promoters win some and lose some. Ultimately, the one who's taking the biggest gamble is Shakur.
