I thought Fulton beat Castro but he was very clearly outsized there and those issues would become even more pronounced at 130. Sugar Nunez, Navarrete, and Ford (among a few others) would probably put a bit of a hiding on Fulton just based on the difference in size. I like Fulton a lot but he doesn't have the frame to compete at 130. He could probably beat Foster but Fulton's still stuck between a rock and a hard place with Inoue on the horizon at 126 and being too small to compete effectively at 130.
Again, Ball is not fighting anyone good before he gets the Inoue payday. Inoue is planning to fight Akhmadaliev in September and then Ball in December.

And I saw the Castro fight and had the same concerns as you did, but you're forgetting how easily he handled Figueroa the second time around.

He said he wants a rematch against Inoue. How does fleeing the division rather than unifying with a guy he already beat or Nick Ball get him that rematch?
He can say whatever he wants, the only way he beats Inoue is if Inoue is suddenly washed or injured. I know it, you know it, and Fulton knows it.

That's fair. And if he gets a title at 130 that really just means the win by Inoue keeps aging better and better.

Bozy don’t know who got next - He don’t have much of a clue.
But Inoue ruined Fulton. That was a hellacious beating.

Yeah, I thought Fulton looked stellar against Figueroa but I’m still unsure how much of that was due to Fulton’s ability and how much was due to how flat Figueroa looked.

I think fulton beats ball, he should aim for that fight, if he did win it, the monster will be coming up for him again.

Ball is waiting around for an Inoue payday in December, there is zero chance he'd take the risk of a Fulton fight before that.

I think Fulton is a special fighter. I would pick him over Foster and even Tank. The spanking he took against Inoue was among the greatest performances in history.
