Brian Norman not even close to the talent that would prevail over Boots, and to mention a Crying Ryan is a discredit to Boots, there are levels to this and not 140 pounder moving up could hold Boots jock strap mark my words on that! Brian has talent but he’s young and not there yet and may never be.Comment

On a side note, good article, good analysis. Boots is very good but I can't wait to see what happens when someone like Murtazaliev or Garcia land a couple of left hooks on that chin. Sure he is a lot more skilled, well conditioned and durable than Garcia, but it would still be an intriguing match up. Murtazaliev can take a good shot and his left hook is murderous. I will definitely watch that when it happens.Last edited by brankobugarski; 04-17-2025, 03:24 PM.Comment

Timmeh the only boxer I know of who had a mental breakdown from getting a gift decision
Musta been overwhelmed by all of the paqturds trolling him
I’d push for that match if I was handling Jaron

Not only do I want him to get paid, I say it will be easy work on all them boys thinking about 147. If Gervonta knocked their ass out trust me they will go whenever Boots want them too! Levels to this, it’s that simpleComment

I don't always agree with short yellow school bus head Tim, but I agree that Deontay can't box. But it's not because he started late, per se. It's because he's a mule who's too stubborn to listen. And because his morals are in the wrong place. To blame a guy like Mark Breland for spiking his water bottle, I knew he wasn't going to do nothing in boxing after that, and he hasn't.
As for Boots, as long as he's always learning in the gym, he'll probably tighten those screws and fix a few things. He does do some things that cause him to get hit more than his talent and abilities should allow, a little cleaner than he should from the caliber of guys he's faced so far. One thing about Ol' globe head Timmy, he's observant sometimesLast edited by archiemoore1; 04-17-2025, 06:02 PM.Comment

Really easy money. Tank would get spanked too, not that he'd ever risk that fight. But you know there's a subset of fans who would claim that he ducked Garcia, Haney, Teo, etc, and "fled" the division if he moved up to 154 without fighting them. I say he takes the easy money and cleans out whoever at 147 wants the smoke (likely Teo and Garcia, dunno about Norman, and probably not Haney or Barrios) as long as he can safely make the weight and get the fights. The fights at 154 will keep, and the situation there is volatile and needs to settle down so there can be a clearly defined hierarchy. History won't give him much credit for the Bohachuk's and such, unless the latter manages to claim a title after all.Comment

It's boxing , you're going to get hit. It's really ridiculous to act like getting hit is the end of the world. It's what happens next that matters. Boots is fun to watch because he's "vulnerable".
