Did anyone gain respect for Dirrell?

I lost total respect for him. He talked so much **** and then did nothing but run.

Hide in a corner, duck, sniff Carl's crotch and then run some more. I wish Carl would have hit him more in the back of his head so he would not lean in and sniff the crotch.

All the running and hugging put people to sleep. Andrea should have came into this fight wearing a damn mini skirt so at least it would give me the clear notion that he was playing the secretary roll and was just testing out her Halloween costume.

    Andrea Dirrell.

    Run you *****, RUN!

I wasn't fond of all the holding because of his lack of an inside game. That is clearly his plan. Keep it long range and as soon as it gets close, tie up.

        That is not defense.

That is taking away from the fight.

I could see why Froch was frustrated and resorting to the roughhousing. I think he should have got a point taken away just as much as Andres was deserved.

It was a fight and Dirrell was turning it into a hugfest, then crying like Kermit Cintron when Carl would hit him anyways.

Develop an inside fight Dirrell and you won't have to act like a girl when it gets close.
You idiots on this site who have no clue about the sport that we call boxing should stay the **** off of this site. It really apalls me that you can honestly say that direll out boxed Froch but because he didnt fight like Pac or Gatti he doesnt get credit for the win. Believe me the sport is called boxing. There are skills and as soon as a athletic good boxer like Floyd or Direll shows the sweet science of the sport to you idiots it becomes a car wreck. If you want blind rage and out the window with a gameplan attack then go watch MMA. We dont need anymore biased hometown decisions in boxing and we really want to see the real winner rewarded in a way that the will make the loser go back to the drawing board and regroup. I hate to hear Froch really boast now like he really won, when he knows in his heart of hearts that he got a gift decision. This is why the sports is on its decline. Every since Chavez got the gift of a lifetime from Richard Steele to Delahoya gift over Sturm THE SPORT HAS ROBBED US OF THE TRUTH.

That's actually true, I lost all respect for Dirrell when he ran like a scared coward in the Stevens fight....Harold Lederman said Dirrell/Stevens was "the worst fight I've ever seen".

I respect his skill, he got the potential. But I dont think he will gain respect by running and clinching. I wont mind that but most people will.

Dirrell doesnt have what it takes to be a champion.

He doesn't have the balls nor the guts to take it.

Had he attacked Froch from round 6 on he's prolly win.

But the dude ran for 10 fckn round doing pit pat punches.

You forgot the gift decision Floyd got against Castillo?

Running bitches should not be rewarded in the sport of fighting. If they want to run all night let them join the track team.

How on earth can you call that a gift, while calling Dirrell-Froch in favour of Froch.. some mad bias there.

End of the day Floyd beat Castillo 2x. Once with an injury.

He is the one complaining about gifts but he left out one of the biggest robberies of all time, while he is defending Floyd.

Phuk Dirrell, he did nothing to win the fight.
Carl came out of that fight unmarked.

Too bad Dirrell was not Jermain Taylor's opponent because he too would have came out of this fight with out a lump or a scratch.

                      I actually gained huge respect.

Made me hopeful about the sport of boxing.
