Sorry. Disagree. Lots of things have been around for decades. If they were wrong then they are wrong now.

In a perfect world we'd see fighters of similar weights in the ring as well as the scales.

But certain fighters have the genetics (all races btw) to be able to cut and then massively rehydrate. This means that the fight is not just a competition if skill but also a competition of who has the favourable genetics to rehydrate 2 weight divisions.

Well the problems is this fight wasn't even close to being competitive, and absolutely not about boxing.

Peace & Blessings! I'm afraid that Boots' pursuit of "Undisputed" will be just as harmful to his career as Crawford's pursuit of the same @ 140! Also eerily similar is when Crawford demanded Pacquiao to come to 140, instead of fighting him @ 147, just like Boots turning down Vergil Ortiz Jr.! Of course Vergil is not Pacquiao, but I know you get what i'm saying! Beating Vergil would have put him on the path to Superstar!

1. Thats not the reason he didnt get the Pacquiao fight. Its because Arum would not make the fight. He knew what would happen.

you know that Norman is going to get paid more than 1.7 million when he eventually fights Ennis, right? Why would you ever take the first offer? If the fight falls through, he's only 24. Ennis is the guy that needs the fight. Norman has what he wants. Ennis is desperate to make something happen in the last quarter of his career. Hearn isn't in a good bargaining position here.

I’m not sure why Bozy would say this. Dumb thing to say. If Norman Jr and Barrios are of the belief they can wait out Boots and he’ll soon enough jump to 154, there’s no way in hell they fight Boots.

Nah all jokes aside I just don't want Boots to make a horrible mistake and sign another multi fight deal with DA-nobody. I don't want to see a Boots vs Bakrat machatsack in Saudi on Sunday morning. Nor do I want him having a proper mash up against Paddy Donovan in London. I want to see him fight the Americans. If reports are true that PBC is planning a summer fight between Marii Barrios vs Errol Spence then that can mean one thing: A major PPV on Amazon Prime between Errol vs Boots. If Errol wins then he's right back on top. If Boots wins then look out Tank because the new PPV KING is here to stay!

The best way to make the fight 'fairer' (imo) is to have next day weigh-in limits at the IBF does - but then fighters just avoid the IBF rankings - which might be part of the reason they have the worst rankings and serve up the worst mandatories
