Yes a guy shot up the gym Katie father was in looking for his enemy over some personal ****, his enemy wasn't in the gym and Katie father and best friend tried to wrestle him to the ground, unfortunately Peter Taylor best friend got shot and died and Peter Taylor took one in his arm. The culprit was caught days later and was convicted and got a life sentence. He apologized to the dead man's family and Katie father and admitted his target wasn't in the gym. serrano is the one tiring with what they have now, thats a fact

Serrano tiring…maybe because she’s throwing more punches and pressing the action.

Not saying it’s a robbery. Relax. Just saying. Just stating Taylor would NOT be able to handle 3 minute rounds. Every fight she’s in she looks like she has Bambi legs. I admire her grit and tenacity…but those fights with Serrano were close as all get out.

I think Serrano might get her out of there now.

And then critics will say, “Ah, well…it only took Taylor 4 fights with the Serrano clan before finally losing one.”

Meh. I think Serrano wins this next one. But may the best fighter win.

we will never know because its not happening that way, if it was 3 min rounds it may well become more tactical with less engagement who knows

I thought Serrano won the first fight but lost the second fight to Taylor. In their first bout; Serrano had Taylor out on her feet and nearly stopped her but subsequently punched herself out and allowed Taylor back into the fight.

Even though I still thought she had done enough to win the fight. In their second fight; After Serrano rocked her in the first round. I thought Taylor boxed more and was the busier of the two fighters.

She also landed the cleaner and harder punches as well. Serrano seemed to be just a split second slower in the rematch than she was in their first bout. She had trouble catching her cleanly as opposed to their first bout.

It was either due to being shopworn or perhaps it was due to Amanda being the more fundamentally sound of the two fighters.

I expect Katie Taylor to win again because she is the better athlete and fighter. After Serrano punched herself out in their first bout; She never got a second wind. Katie is a pure boxer. Where as Serrano is just a huge volume puncher.

Yes!!!! Very well said! Frankly? I am willing to forget the headbutts totally and defer to whom in both fights caused any real damage. And how judges can even surmise when Taylor is making contact with her pitty pat, olympic level grunting and shots. Half of her shots miss. And Amanda should be given extra stones for buckling her opponent (first fight) in a two minute round.

But alas... kattie is so wholesome looking, so modest... Just the perfect face of women's boxing...

I would bet the house Taylor would absolutely gas out in a full 12 round 3 minute championship bout. Taylor is completely spent by the end of the 20 minutes…she might be winning by a hair or two in the later part…but 16 extra minutes…IS SIXTEEN EXTRA MINUTES.

That’s eight extra rounds by women’s standards. Absoutely no way in hell she clears that distance. Not against Serrano.

Punchers need time to work, you are absolutely correct... When fights were 15 rounds there was much more equality in boxing. You take away 3 minute rounds? Now you have given every advantage to the boxer over the puncher.

Boxers have ebb and flow. Amanda and Taylor both experienced fatigue and second winds. It is better to look at objective facts: Punchers need a full round to work. One cannot predict that any particular fighter would be more, or less fatigued... A great example would be Briggs who was exhausted an entire fight but KO'ed his opponent in the closing seconds of the last round.

It is disheartening for a puncher, thus a cause of fatigue when they cannot have the time to set up a KO.

And since when does character, or family have anything to do with Katie getting gifts? Oh yeah it does because politically the alphabets love fresh little Kattie as opposed to the stereotype Amanda Puerto Rican hood. Rididculous and unfair to Serano.

Serrano is a better boxer and fighter, but her approach is all wrong. She keeps trying to walk Taylor down and knock her out. Serrano is walking into Tayor's quick combos. Serrano needs to just stay in the center of the ring and box, let Taylor come to her, practice patience.
