Yes, you literally could not be a top fighter if you didn’t think , absolutely, I’m bad. From Bob Fitzsimmons to Bud Crawford, every single top fighter has carried themselves with that scary lil edge that says ‘I’m bad’. Always have, always will. That is part of being champion. I actually was quite excited about Ennis years ago. He really seemed to be the next big name. Highly skilled and ko' ing bad comp fast.

At this point they are trying incredibly hard to make him a star. Boxing is dying, corrupt as hell and becoming a totally niche sport. So I HOPE I am wrong and Ennis moves to 154 and becomes a killer amongst the elite.

So far what I have seen is him not look great against Karen twice and last night he fought a totally inactive smaller fighter who got gifted a belt and he looked bad. Ennis got hit with a lot of clean shots, but he looked good offensively. His offense is built on a careless defense. He is going to have to tighten up his guard and think more against really good fighters. And his power at 147 looked elite against bad fighters, but he isn't a one punch power KO guy in the ring with anyone B grade. He won't be able to take those shots against a 154 big hitter who can box. It will change his game. And his game will still be good.....

But...he seems to carry the "I am the next RJJ Floyd SRR" crap around with him and he is arrogant....not confident like alot of fighters, who yes, all believe in themselves. Arrogance is insecurity disguised. With Ennis there is a chip on his shoulder that has resulted from the massive hype. He has been protected for a long time and Stan is a step up and kudos for whipping him. But to the Ennis fanboys now dancing in the streets and pushing the hype.

If you yourselves believe that this fight was Ennis showing he is elite, I think you all may all want to wait a bit. If Ennis goes in against an Ortiz or Tszyu and obliterates them, I will be there with you. But until he does, he just seems a step below really good IMO.

Ennis - Crawford is clearly the fight to make. But Crawford is on the way to get ruined at 168 for a pay day.

Hard to feel sad, the fans created this monster. They have shown time and again that they dont care who Canelo fights as long as he gets his hand raised. A supposed "p4p" who lost to a smaller 37 y/o, lost a guy he was favored 3-1 over, and said a guy in his own weight class was too big. Dont blame boxing blame the fans.

I mean like I said I lost respect for you. Go back to our conversations BEFORE the fight. I always said Stan was tough but not great beating him is like beating the 9th ranked SMW right now. I have not anointed Boots anything. I told you I’d give him until end of 2025 and if he does not unify the WW division then I’d speak of him the way you do. He just destroyed a guy that many thought was going to be a test, yourself included.

I have never disagreed with you that the WW division is weak. I have also agreed with you that Boots has been taken for a ride by his promoters. He should have unified this division a year ago but it’s not too late.

I lost respect for you cause you saying I look dumb blah blah just cause I wasn’t overly impressed with an outcome that was likely to occur. Stan wouldn’t be top 8 at 154 and that’s a fact. Thats how deep in talent 154 is right now. 147 is so pathetic that 3 of the 4 champions wouldn’t even be in the top 8 at 154. And that would be counting Stan as still a champ. Maybe bootsy is as good as you say but beating stannaois doesn’t prove it.

Anybody disparaging Boots is 1 of 3 things (and no I won’t resort to racism or childish insults):

- Someone who genuinely doesn’t know the sport.

- Someone who is extremely biased.

- Someone who previously misjudged Boots and has too large of an ego to admit they’re wrong.
