Bud might as well go all the way and say he is goat now, saying he is top 3 is almost holding back and being shy.
Of course bud wouldn't really think he's goat, but if you want others to think it you need to plant seed in people's head. Ali.said he's goat, floyd said he's goat, fury said it. Only Ali people believed in hindsight
I get that but Ali did fight every name around his time. Bud simply wants to get paid, I don't doubt Crawford's skills but it has to be consistently measured with the best in the division.

this is a win win for both of them

canelo can say he shared the ring with a top3 ATG of the sport, his fans will love that it would be another accolade to slobber over for all time

Now check SRL from 79 to 81, Benitez, Duran twice, Kalule and Tommy Hearns, in the span of five years he already has fought three hall of fames in their prime. That's a resume, and no help from the judges.
I agree. Also, I may add that fighters had to fight the best fighters available for the highest purse. Nowadays it's different. The average titleholder could fight a voluntary, non-ranked contender for a minimum of $5 million dollars.

Which is why boxers are so inactive today and fight only when they get ready. They make too much money. In the days of old; Some fighters had to fight a minimum of three fights per week just to make ends meet.

so to be the greatest u need to look a few weight classes above and fight a guy who hasnt fought a hard fight in years and is afraid of the people fans want him to fight? next hard fight canelo has hes losing, if canelo fought and beat benny and then bud beat canelo i would say thats very very impressive but canelo cant do that and he knows it, hes even been protected bigtime by the boxing orgs at 168 who just slobber all over his especially the wbc who have adopted him officially i think

Moron? I was agreeing with you in a sarcastic way. Mayweather was leagues ahead of Alvarez at any weight that Canelo could muster.

True, Bud isn't in the equation of being goat. Ali was in the strongest era of heavyweights and has wins over them all.

Well, I've got floyd above bud now. If bud beats Nelo id have bud above floyd. But id like bud to record a few more good wins after Nel o fight to show it wasn't a bad day at office for nelo
