Joe Joyce main objective was to be a champion. I think most think thats unlikely now, thats why the calls for retirement. But if he wants to box to get money and also just to improve resume thats okay too, look at Chisora. Chisora was never really a world beater but noone begrudged him making a living and hes did ok too.

Joe, the point of retirement is to do so while you still have your wits, not wait until they're gone. The fact you don't get that says they're not as present as you think.

Joyce isn't going to win a world title against any of the current crop of contenders, let alone the champ. And I'm not sure he's got any money fights left either.
