I don't think height and weight is the issue with a lot of us fans; the issue for me was Torrez simply blasting lugs. Some were a tad more durable, but he's fought lugs. I don't see Vianello taking the same shots and it's going to force Richard to show different facets of his game for the first time. He says that's exactly what he wants, so let's see.

Vianello might put an end to the hype and I'm still debating in the PICK EM thread.

Sure do like Richard and root for him, though.

I’m excited for Torrez jr . My favorite boxer is Benavidez and hopefully Torrez jr can follow in the Mexican Monster’s Foot Steps. As for Torrez jr being to small for the heavyweights of today . Usyk destroyed that long held False myth. Torrez jr has Fast hands with very good power behind him . So far Torrez hasn’t shown any problems getting In & Under and delivery hurtful punch’s . Yes it’s early day’s I know but that is what makes Following guy’s like Richard so exciting.

Vianello showed a lot against Efe, he was very fluid....I just came across this fight, a big step up for Richard,, esp. considering he hasnt fought anyone at all.

Yeah, it's a big step up here. Torrez might've tried Mak instead, but I'm not sure he wins that either. There just isn't credible pro history to gauge him yet.

One way or another, this fight will be a needed gauge.
