Bottom line is no one can predict what happens next week, or the next. Man, I don't even know what happens tomorrow.
Yeah, even tuneups entail risks. With very little reward, unfortunately.
And training costs are expensive. Probably why Spence has retired.

I doubt it even happens between the intermediate fights and Charlo's mental state.

This is almost as irrelevant as the Wilder fight imo

Charlo if he is focused and disciplined. I just think that he is the overall better fighter.

Also, he is undefeated. Every time Plant raised his level of opposition he’d always lost (Canelo, Benavidez).

Don’t say Anthony Dirrell either because both of the Dirrell boys were diminished the moment they fought stiffer opposition.

I only do predictions on fights with scheduled dates. Otherwise, it's mere fantasy. Not fair to the guy I predicted to lose because he has no way of proving me wrong.

They have learned nothing at all from JuanMa/Salido when they blew the JuanMa/Gamboa fight at 126.

You don't have to go as far back as Lopez/Gamboa. Jermall himself got arrested and charged with DWI and lost his WBC belt. Weeks prior he was announcing a potential fight with Canelo. The very fight he always wanted thus avoiding taking other fights for fear of getting derailed. There are other recent cases.

Who knows what shape he'll turn up in for Cornflake, I know he isn't great but if he fights the fight of his life and Charlo comes in really rusty maybe he can pull off the upset. No one really cared about Charlo/Plant anyway so these tuneups are pointless.

It's up to Charla whether or not this goes the distance

If he exchanges and fights to win, Plant via KO
If Charla goes in there to survive, Plant via UD.
