It's a shame it's not happening next. Both guys could do with that fight and tbh it's down to charlo why it isn't happening next because the guy has had 1 fight in 4 years and that fight was against a blown up welterweight and now he needs another tune up because of how inactive he's been and it wouldn't be surprising if he fights in may and disappears again.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jermall takes the tune up, runs off with the money and doesn't fight again for another 2 years. The way PBC fighters are paid for tune-ups and showcase bouts, they have no reason to challenge themselves.

Caleb can still become champ again in the near future and is nowhere near as inactive as Jermall. This fight should've happened sometime last year, but that's wishful thinking.

You left out the last 4 career defining FOTY candidates in Munguia, Charlo, Berlanga and Ryder.

Also, you’re wrong about Benn. Rumor has it Canelo will take on the greatest challenge of his ATG career in fighting a coming out of retirement, Marcos Maidana. That’s the fight I’m looking forward to the most.

So Charlo is scheduled to fight Cornflake LaManna? The same Cornflake that was short-circuited by Lara with one punch?

I suppose it's been a long layoff for Charlo. Didn't realize that Cornflake recently stopped the corpse of Juan Carlos Abreu (who somehow went the distance with Conwell).

Cornflake has made one heck of a career between fighting and promoting. He's from where I grew up in South Jersey so I root for him. Feel like it's been ages since I first saw him on ShoBox against Antoine "Action" Douglas. After that result, I would have never figured Cornflake would have the better career.

Jermall still has to make it to the ring on time and on weight and not pull out because of his mental health. People acting like he's guaranteed to win vs his soft touch, and here I am not sure he'll even make the fight.

Badou Jack is on the undercard, and that's not by coincidence. If Jack doesn't lose to Rozicki but still looks old and beatable, I can virtually guarantee that he'll be receiving an offer from Canelo, who will say he's "daring to be great".

Caleb will win this, Charlo is a waster.

Mayorga is also rumored to be unretiring and I believe he might be another contender for the ATG Canelo.
