That may be very well true. While I think that Boots is the more sturdy of the two fighters when it comes to punching power and eating punches; I think that Ortiz has the overall better defense and skill set.

Ennis tends to get hit a bit too much for my liking. At the present moment, I believe that Ortiz is the more complete and fundamentally sound of the two fighters. Vergil Ortiz is just simply the better fighter.

It may be a good idea if Jaron Ennis hires an additional coach to assist him in his defense because it's too leaky. I believe his lack of defense may be the real reason behind his keep ducking of Ortiz.

The moment he fights someone who can throw more than 3 punches a round and hits kinda hard he will loose. The guy is too hittable.

Hmm...This brother remembers. I also remember Bomac being asked about Pacquiao for Crawford at around the time Bud was fighting John Molina, if I remember correctly. Oh man, Bomac went ballistic and he clearly wanted no part of Manny. Who can blame them? Bud was getting an average paycheck of $1.5 million fighting the likes of Jean, Diaz, Lundy, Dulorme, Gamboa, Molina, etc.
In fact, he's the only prospect at that time getting such amount of money while Thurman, Porter, Garcia had to fight each other before getting their first taste of $1 million.
I also remember Bud when asked about Manny, he responded fight had to be at 140.
This is all in the in the library at Google university if anyone cares enough to search.

So, enough with the history lessons. Who you got? Stanionis or Boots?

Eimantas Stanionis is tailor-made for Jaron Boots Ennis, brother. His most grueling fight was with Butaev. It's a close fight, thus split decision win. He definitely has staying power.
